Zenit Academy players won the bronze at the Russian U18 Championship

Today, April 6, the Russian U18 Championship concluded in Moscow. In the third-place match, the team Saint Petersburg-1 confidently defeated Moscow-3 with a score of 84:56, securing the bronze medals of the tournament.

In the final stage of the competition, the Saint Petersburg team, coached by Sergey Stepanov, featured players from Zenit U19 — Semyon Ananyin, Kirill Belov, Alexander Zamanskiy, Denis Silayev, and Nikolay Sevostyanov — as well as representatives from Zenit 2008 — Bogdan Rak, Ivan Teodorovich, Leonid Firsov, Mikhail Iskakov, Yuri Koshechka and Maxim Ankudinov.

Following the tournament, guard Semyon Ananyin was named to the championship’s symbolic five.
