Zenit-2 will face Novosibirsk in the Super League quarterfinals
At the end of the Fonbet Super League 2024/25 regular season, the blue-whites reserve team reached the playoffs for the second time in history and for the second consecutive year. Under the guidance of Oliver Popovic, the team finished the season in 4th place, improving last year's result when Zenit-2 finished 7th.
In the quarterfinals, Zenit-2 will play against Novosibirsk, who finished in 5th place in the standings. The teams met twice during the regular season, with the St. Petersburg team winning both times — 85:69 at home and 66:73 away.
The quarterfinal series will be played in a best-of-five format with the "2+2+1" scheme. The first two matches, as well as the fifth match if necessary, will take place in St. Petersburg, as Zenit-2 secured a higher position in the standings. Full schedule of games according to St. Petersburg time:
