Xavier Moon is out for the rest of the season
Zenit's American guard Xavier Moon will miss the rest of the 2024/25 season due to an injury sustained on January 15 in the game against Pari Nizhny Novgorod.
Following a medical examination, the 30-year-old basketball player was diagnosed with a right knee joint injury. The nature of the injury will not allow Xavier to return to the court this season. The club is working on an optimal treatment and rehabilitation program.
In the current VTB United League season, Moon participated in 24 games, averaging 13.5 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. In November, Moon was named MVP of the month among all teams in the tournament.
We wish Xavier good health, recover from his injury as soon as possible and return to the basketball court even stronger!
