— Igor, you've been absent from the team for some time in the new year. How is your health, and how quickly are you regaining your playing form?
— My health is improving, and day by day, I'm trying to regain the form and rhythm I had before. Maybe I'll even surpass it. We'll see how things progress.
— The game against Nizhny Novgorod is coming up. How is the preparation going?
— Preparation is going as usual: we’ve watched videos, analyzed the opponent, and we’re in a fighting mood. We'll do our best to win and avoid the mistakes we’ve made before.
— What would you highlight as Nizhny’s strengths?
— Even though Nizhny has a younger roster, they combine well with experienced players and look very strong. Aggressive defense and ball movement are some of their key strengths.
— The previous meeting was very high-scoring. Can fans expect the same aggressive offensive play from Zenit on Wednesday?
— A lot has already been said about the last game. We'll make adjustments, try to play our style of basketball, and win. The main thing is to secure the victory.
